The DG models 17650 & 760035 Electrostatic Diagnostic Test Instruments are used to electrically charge an aircraft on the ground to simulate the charging phenomena aircraft encounter in flight.
The test instruments can simulate streaming current noise, sparking noise, and corona noise allowing the problem to be identified and corrective measures taken to eliminate noise-producing phenomena on the aircraft being tested.
